Currently a professor at the Academy of Arts in Bremen, Erik Spiekermann has led a prolific career as a typeface designer, founder of MetaDesign and FontShop, graphic designer, and writer. His types are known for their usability and most of all - legibility. Spiekermann has stated his focus on making text readable from many angles and type sizes.
